What I Wish I Were Doing

is what my dad is doing as I write this. I miss the farm. I miss it for my sake, and I miss it for Ethan's, who has to grow up in the city, far away from the wide open spaces. If I were ever to write one of those disgustingly sentimental country songs, it would be about not being able to live on a farm!

Doesn't your Dad ever wish too that you could be here! He feels a little sorry for himself from time to time when he is left alone to do it all! Tim has been helping out a fair bit, and i do when I can, but neither of us is available always when needed. Love MOM

I have the same sentiments. I miss the farm mostly because I don't want Abby to grow up in the city.

What's that saying about taking the boy off the farm...

It truly does get into one's blood, doesn't it?
